In the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, on more than 60 kilometres of maintained winter hiking trails you can breathe in the healthy mountain air and enjoy the magical snow-covered landscape. Enjoy a leisurely or sporty stroll through the white idyll and round off the day with a stop at a cosy mountain hut on Zugspitze: winter hiking in the Tiroler Zugspitzarena has something for every mountain lover.

Digital adventure trails

Three of our six digital adventure trails are also accessible in winter. They each offer a digital tour with its own theme and a lovingly illustrated main character. In the midst of a fairytale winter landscape, the trails unfold their very own charm. The tours include informative audio guides, videos, mini-games and puzzles. Once all the stations have been mastered, a badge is uploaded to the digital collector's pass. These badges can be shown at the local tourist offices and each completed trail is rewarded with a free children's tattoo.
