Family Bike-Camp
30/ May - 31/ May/ 2026
- Duration of the camp: 1.5 days
1st day: Theory
2nd day: Practice
- Theory:
- When: 30/ May/ 2026 - 16:00
- Duration: until approx. 18:15
- Where: Elementary school Lermoos (Volksschule Lermoss), Innsbrucker Str. 16 in A-6631 Lermoos
- Practice:
When: 31/ May/ 2026 - 08:45 to approx. 15:30
Where: Zugspitze Bike Park on the Wetterstein - Please bring:
- Full-suspension bike in top condition with at least 120 mm (preferably 160 mm) suspension travel, good tires (at least 2.4 inches), serviced disc brakes
- In the bike park, SAAC RECOMMENDS a FULL-VISOR HELMET (but at least a half-shell helmet must be used)! In addition, knee protectors and elbow pads
- Good cycling skills - experience and fun riding single trails
- Participation requirements: Families with children aged 12 and over, accompanied by an adult
- Costs: Participation is free of charge, but places are limited. Lift pass for the practical day: Adults: € 38.00, teenagers: € 32.00, children: € 26.00

Bike camp

- Practice:
- When: 31/ May/ 2026 - 09:00 to approx. 15:30
- Where: Zugspitze Bike Park on the Wetterstein
- Meeting point: 08:45 Ehrwalder Wetterstein Cable Cars
- Participation requirements:
- Full-suspension bike in top condition with at least 120 mm (preferably 160 mm) suspension travel, good tires (at least 2.4 inches), serviced disc brakes
- In the bike park, SAAC RECOMMENDS a FULL-VISOR HELMET (but at least a half-shell helmet must be used)! In addition, knee protectors and elbow pads (iXS protectors can be borrowed free of charge on site if someone has noted this on their camp registration).

Via ferrata camp

- Practice:
- When: 05/ July/ 2026 09:00 to approx. 15:30
- Where: Climbing areas in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena
- Alternative option in case of bad weather: Ehrwald climbing hall
- Participation requirements:
- General physical fitness
- From 14 years!
- Max. number of participants: 6 people per mountain guide
- Costs:
Participation is free of charge. The amount you have to pay when you register is for admission to the Ehrwald climbing hall in case of bad weather. You will be informed about the payment method in the registration confirmation email. - Camp registration from: 00:00 on 15/ April/ 2026
That was the Basic Camp 2026
Once again this winter, the experts at SAAC (Snow and Avalanche Awareness Camps) ran a basic course in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena. The course focused specifically on safety aspects, technique, equipment and gear, as well as how to respond in emergency situations. The courses, led by state-certified mountain guides and mountain bike instructors, lasted two days.

- What to bring: Ski or snowboard equipment, rucksack, if you have: avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe
- Max. number of participants: 30 people
- Costs: Lift ticket for the practice day: € 27,-/person

- Participants must organise their own accommodation.
