In the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, three ski resorts have received the commendation as a certified family ski resort.
These comprise the ski areas Ehrwalder Alm, Wetterstein and Berwang-Bichlbach.
This certification is far more comprehensive than usual, taking a holistic approach that covers everything from the first Google search to the last day of skiing.

The certification criteria include:

🔹The resort offers a variety of amenities and services to accommodate families with children. These include child-friendly menus, high chairs, and painting sets at the table.

🔹Excellent childcare
🔹Varied children's parks
🔹Special family and children's rates

The Tiroler Zugspitz Arena has been awarded the quality seal for cross-country skiing trails by the state of Tyrol. This certificate is reserved for cross-country skiing areas in Tyrol that have a defined minimum number of trails and meet high standards for grooming, orientation, and marking.

The Tiroler Zugspitz Arena is honored to be a member of the Tiroler Familiennester.
For 25 years, the members of the Tiroler Familiennester stand for family vacations in Tyrol, offering exceptional play programs and certified accommodation.
The Tiroler Familiennester association is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of quality, offering ongoing training, guidance, assessment, and support. To guarantee the successful implementation of the annually changing motto and new play programs, two mandatory training courses are provided for child and youth workers.
As part of the Tirol Touristica 2010, the Tiroler Familiennester were honored with a recognition prize for their annually changing themes.
