The region of the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, with its fascinating landscape, is shaped by impressive mountain ranges and wonderful lakes. At 2,962 m, the Zugspitze is the highest peak in the region, even if it is on the German side.
This striking mountain is an unique element in our landscape.
Thanks to our location close to the border, it is easy to get here from Germany and the Netherlands without a highway toll sticker and even by train. Once you arrive in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, a huge range of outdoor activities awaits you. Hiking, cycling, mountaineering, climbing, canyoning - to name just a handful. We also have many wellness, culinary and event highlights to offer in our 7 villages.

There are two routes for toll-free travel via Germany: the A7 (Ulm - Füssen) and the A95 (Munich - Garmisch-Partenkirchen). The regional train runs from Innsbruck via Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Reutte to Pfronten. There are airports in Memmingen (GER), Munich (GER) and Innsbruck (AUT).
