One mountain. Seven towns. Extraordinary holidays.

Municipal office Namlos

The place name "Namlos" is probably derived from the settler "Amel" at that time. For some time, the village bore the name "Namles" before it was renamed to today's "Namlos".
The village was first mentioned in a document in 1286. The valley was settled from Imst and until the end of the 13th century the alpine pastures belonged to Imst.

Despite its small size, the small mountain village is very active in some respects. Examples of this are the independent volunteer fire brigade, the mountain rescue service, the village's own hunting, the agricultural communities and the Namlos music band.
However, the primary and secondary school has no longer existed since 2013.
