Tiroler Zugspitz Arena - Panoramaweg
Section 1: Heiterwang am See - Bichlbach:
The start of the 1st section of the route is in Heiterwang am See at the Seestraße parking lot. Walk towards the right bank of the lake over the Grundbach bridge. Immediately turn right and follow the approx. 600 meter long dirt road. This leads into a path which, after two hairpin bends, leads to the start of the panorama trail. Follow the wide gravel path along the Grundbach stream. Keep left at the next fork and hike through the pastures until you reach the large Almkopfbahn Bichlbach underpass. There, follow the signs to Panoramaweg Bichlbach on the left. In Bichlbach, at the fork in the road, turn right over the bridge, go through the underpasses of the railroad and the main road to the tourist office/guild house.

Section 2: Bichlbach - Berwang and Berwang - Bichlbach:
The 2nd section of the route to Berwang starts at the tourist office / guild house. Go to Dorfstraße, turn right to the next crossroads. Turn left there in the direction of Berwang. At the parking lot of the Bichlbach sports and leisure park, cross the bridge, follow the gravel hiking trail on the left past the bathing lake, cross the small bridge to Berwangerstraße. Cross the road and follow the wide gravel path on the other side of the road with signs for Panoramaweg/Talweg Berwang. Walk straight ahead along the Talbach stream, cross the bridge over the stream and continue uphill through the hamlet of Tal until you reach the village of Berwang.
Take the same route back down into the valley to Bichlbach to the tourist office.
Alternatively, you can take the Almkopfbahn cable car (gondola lift) from Bichlbach to the Hochalm, hike down to Berwang via the beautiful hiking trail and return to Bichlbach via the valley path/panorama trail (note the operating times of the cable car).

Section 3: Bichlbach-Lähn/Wengle - Lermoos:
Behind the guild house / tourist office, the trail leads under the road and under the railroad, over the bridge to the Panoramaweg. Follow the signs to the right in the direction of Lähn, pass above the animal and play park, then walk straight ahead along the railroad to the “Wenglersee”. Cross the stream there and continue across the fields to the gated level crossing to Lähn. Cross this, keep left and walk through the village. At the end of the village, take the gravel path along the main road to the district of Rauthängerle. After the houses, go under the railroad, keep right and walk above the railroad line to the Panoramabad Lermoos. Cross the parking lot there, descend through the fields, go through the railroad underpass and turn left to Lermoos station.

Section 4: Lermoos - Ehrwald:
The 4th section of the route begins at the train station in Lermoos. Walk along the railroad tracks for approx. 400 meters, then follow the constantly ascending trail to the left. This initially leads slightly uphill, later slightly downhill to Ehrwald. Follow the main road, go under the railroad viaduct, cross the road to the petrol station at the entrance to Ehrwald.

Section 5: Ehrwald - Biberwier:
The 5th section of the route starts at the petrol station at the entrance to Ehrwald. To the right of the petrol station along the Loisach to the large Loisach bridge - left in the direction of Ehrwald to the Kirweg -
Clemens-Krauss-Weg - follow this to Innsbrucker Straße. Follow Innsbrucker Straße to the traffic circle. Here the path leads slightly uphill to the left into the larch forest - follow the signs for Panoramaweg to Biberwier. Bus stop Hotel My Tirol (Marienbergbahnen).
