DECLARATION ON ACCESSIBILITY

The online offer of the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena Tourism Association (hereinafter referred to as TVB) is designed to provide the best possible variety and depth of information for all those interested in tourism in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena. Of course, this also applies to people with disabilities. In the course of this, the TVB Tiroler Zugspitz Arena endeavours to make the website www.zugspitzarena.com as accessible as possible in accordance with §14b of the Tyrolean Anti-Discrimination Act 2005 for the implementation of EU Directive 2016/2102 of the European Parliament. For this purpose, we use the "Guideline for Accessible Web Content" WCAG2.1 as a guideline and orientate ourselves on the four core points: perceptibility, usability, comprehensibility and robustness.

This declaration applies to the website www.zugspitzarena.com.

Status of compliance with the requirements

The website www.zugspitzarena.com is largely compliant with the applicable harmonised European standard "European Standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08)". The TVB Tiroler Zugspitz Arena endeavours to continuously expand and improve the accessible offer.

Non-accessible content and reasons for this

  • Documents integrated into the advertising presence

Reason: Disproportionate effort to make all documents (pdf.) accessible. The aim is to make the top 10 download documents accessible.

  • Videos integrated into the advertising presence

Reason: Disproportionate effort to make all videos on the website accessible. Most of the videos on the website are without speech. In addition, the videos are mainly integrated via the www.youtube.com platform.

  • Cartography on the website

Cartography is per se a pictorial representation which therefore cannot fulfil the requirements.

  • External data entries

Data entries from external sources are not under our control and therefore cannot be made accessible by us. This includes, for example, the "Search & Book" booking platform, which originates from the externally managed Feratel software.

Creation of this declaration on accessibility

The declaration was created on the basis of a self-assessment with regard to editorial and technical criteria. The declaration was created on 05.03.2024 and last reviewed on 05.03.2024.
