Bike opening 2026
Start of the bike season in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena!

Save the date and get your bikes ready – from 14 to 16 May (from 8:30 a.m. to approx. 10 p.m. each day), the Bike Opening will take place at the  Grubigsteinbahn in Lermoos!
Test the latest models, visit the expo, watch spectacular trial shows, take guided tours, attend workshops, enjoy food trucks, good drinks, a DJ and much more over three whole days in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena.

Bikepark Lermoos-Biberwier

Look forward to unique trails with breathtaking views of the Zugspitze in the Lermoos-Biberwier Bike Park.
There are trails for beginners, advanced riders and real pros.
The Bikepark Lermoos-Biberwier is part of the Gravity Card and thus one of the 30 "European leading bike parks".

Workshops, bike tours & community rides

During all three days of the event, you can expect a wide variety of activities led by experienced cyclists: from relaxed gravel bike cruising to technical training sessions.

Trial show of Nicolas Ostheimer

Nicolas Ostheimer is a professional trial biker from Vils in Tyrol. He is one of the world's best in the Elite 26" category and regularly takes part in international competitions. His greatest successes include a bronze medal at the 2023 World Championships and two titles as Austrian junior national champion.

Nicolas brings spectacular bike action and top technical performance to the stage with his thrilling trial shows. Tight jumps, precise balancing acts and impressive tricks at the highest level ensure excitement and amazement for spectators of all ages. The shows are short, intense and turn every event into a real highlight.

The trial shows will take place on the second day of the event (15 May).

The event site is easily accessible by bus, train and on foot.
