A holiday in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena is a time out in nature. Surrounded by green meadows, crystal clear lakes and high peaks, you can relax and unwind. Wouldn't it be wonderful to experience this untouched nature not only while hiking?
We have many camping sites where you can spend the night in the middle of this mountain idyll. Far away from roads and "civilisation", all those who are looking for deceleration can come to rest here. And there is the perfect campsite for every holidaymaker in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena.

The "Fischer am See", for example, focuses on peace and solitude. "Here we are practically at the end of the world, there is no traffic and no noise," enthuses Birgit Hauser about the Fischer am See campsite. So the area can only be explored on foot or by bike. Alternatively, there are also boat tours and SUP rental at Heiterwanger See. With a maximum of 63 pitches, Fischer am See is one of the small but excellent campsites in the region.
The site is simple and original and that is exactly what makes it so charming. The washhouse, for example, may be a bit outdated, but it is absolutely adequate. Those who can (or want to) do without luxury will certainly feel at home here. The site also has its own spring, whose mineral water is available to all guests. By the way, the traffic-free remoteness is especially noticeable at night: With no light or noise pollution, the starry night sky is an absolute must for nature lovers. The focus of this course is therefore on relaxation and peace and quiet.

If, on the other hand, you want to take your children and skittles with you when you camp in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, then the "Zugspitz Resort" campsite, located directly at the valley station of the railway Tiroler Zugspitzbahn in Ehrwald, is the right place for you. The keyword here is glamping: the 5-star campsite has a deluxe bathhouse and a spacious sauna landscape with seven different saunas. "With us it is all about the whole family. Children can have lots of fun here and their parents can enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains in the meantime", explains Franz Dengg from the Zugspitz Resort campsite.
While the parents relax, the children are kept busy. From nine in the morning until 9 pm in the evening, the child carers are available for entertainment every day. But there are also plenty of opportunities for the whole family to spend time together: in the swimming pool, seven different water slides await small and big adventurers, and in the large playground there is even a go-kart track with pedal cars. In the evenings there are films and plays in the children's cinema and in the Play Arena every little gambler gets his money's worth. The restaurant offers international cuisine, Tyrolean specialities and homemade pizzas.

The campsites in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena are therefore diverse and meet a wide range of requirements. So the choice is definitely not easy:

But no matter which of the camping pitches is chosen, one thing always applies (even for non-campers): Please park with common sense. Neither our cycle paths, nor our driveways, and certainly not any meadows there, should be used for other purposes. Nobody likes wildlife parks :-D
