Ready for some time off as a parent? The children's programme in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena makes young guests smile from ear to ear – and gives parents the chance to spend some time alone or as a couple while on holiday at the foot of the Zugspitze. Meanwhile their little ones are in the best of hands and can enjoy plenty of play time with peers. For older children there's an extra youth programme, so boredom is definitely not an option during the family holiday!
We develop our children's and youth program as part of our membership of the Tiroler Familiennester association. This allows us to offer families a high-quality program for a successful vacation for everyone.

As a proud member of the Tiroler Familiennester, we are committed to high quality standards.
In order to meet these goals, we develop a new motto for our children's programme every year together with our partners.
Diverse, interesting and adventurous: this is exactly how our children's program is designed.
In this way we want to offer a colorful and vivid summer to all the families that spend their vacation in the beautiful mountains of Tyrol.
This year we are looking forward to a summer with the motto “Gisela daisy”.

The story: A Web of Courage and Friendship

At the very top of the attic of a small house there lives a little spider called Spinnfried. He's no ordinary eight-legged creature—no, Spinnfried is an artist. With his delicate threads, he weaves intricate webs that sparkle and shine when the sun shines through the skylight. But Spinnfried has a huge problem. He's very shy. No, worse—he's scared, scared of the world outside. He's heard stories: about ordinary spiders, moody beetles, and nasty bees, about little people who hunt spiders, and about big people who catch them and take them away because they don't like spiders. So he prefers to stay indoors. Alone.

Good, sturdy shoes, appropriate clothing for the respective weather and a small rucksack with a snack, a drink, sun/rain protection and headgear

Childcare also takes place in the case of bad weather. The program then includes painting, crafting and playing together.

SURVIVAL EXPLORER DAY

Survive and grow with nature, back to the roots of our ancestors. In our annual Survival Camp, we want to treat nature with respect and sustainability, as always. We discover the secrets of animals and the forest and learn how to find our way around. Creative and exciting survival techniques help us see nature with completely new eyes.

THE ARTIST SPINNFRIED

The courageous Spinnfried shows us, along with his new friends, how exciting and beautiful life can be! Look forward to an exciting day on the farm.
With great challenges, shy fields and peculiar meadow dwellers, as well as lots of fun games.
It will also be a little scary, but the friends don't want to give too much away yet.
But of course, a delicious ice cream with Konrad the beetle is a must.

THE BEAR SECRET

An exciting mystery that takes us to Berwang. An adventure with the town's heraldic animal. We make unusual acquaintances and go in search of clues. Together we explore our mysterious natural surroundings, overcoming every obstacle with plenty of fun and action to solve the tricky mystery. Join in and become a detective.

WATER ... AND ACTION!

We will spend a day by the water with great games, fun and lots of joy. We will explore the cool water and its inhabitants. We will do magical experiments, collect rainbows and water droplets. We will definitely get wet and have fun.

THE CALL OF THE WILD

"Attention" it's going to be wild! And as always, it remains exciting. Paula and Sissi take us into a wild and extraordinary world. You can expect interesting and rare things from the forest and the skies. An experience that is not only fun but also impressive. We say goodbye with a picnic by the campfire and present you with the forest ranger certificate and a small souvenir from us in Tyrol.

The Tiroler Zugspitz Arena offers an exciting youth activity program for children aged 10 and over.
Exciting activities like climbing, archery and many more make sure that there's no chance for boredom during your family holiday in Tyrol. On Tuesday, everyone is welcome at the family day.

In case of bad weather, we offer climbing and bouldering in the Ehrwald climbing hall as an alternative. Participants from partner hotels pay a reduced entrance fee.

Youth programme: weekly schedule

CLIMBING AT THE WATERFALL

Warm-up introductory tour with footwork training for climbing at the Häselgör waterfall with our guides and mountain guides. Crossing obstacles, rope bridges, gorges, agility exercises, flying fox and much more. Climbing equipment is provided free of charge by Bergsport Total.

ARCHERY ON THE ARCHERY COURSE

Archery on the 3D archery course in Weerstein with professional sports bows. To finish off, we'll visit Ziegen-Peter at the goat farm in the village – a fantastic end to the day full of fun! Sports bows and arrows are provided free of charge by Bergsport Total.

ESCAPE TRAIL BERWANG

Experience the ultimate adventure! Solve exciting puzzles and discover the mountain world on a unique outdoor escape trail in the Zugspitzarena.
Ideal for anyone looking for a challenge and wanting to test their wits in spectacular natural surroundings.

CLIMBING FOREST IN BICHLBACH

Today, the climbing skills learned at the Bichlbach climbing forest will be put to the test. Those who practised at the waterfall on Monday can tackle the most difficult courses here. There are five courses of varying difficulty to choose from, high up among the trees.

FAMILY DAY - A DAY FULL OF MOUNTAIN ADVENTURES

Today is all about life in the mountains! What actually happens behind the scenes on the alpine pasture? How does the railway work? And how does the mountain rescue service ensure that we are safe on the mountain? Gain exciting insights, meet real mountain professionals and discover how everything works together!
Finally, we'll meet at the forest school at 2 p.m. for the children's programme for the whole family in the forest. Let's end the week on a high note together!

Children's play festival

Let the games begin!

Jungle air slide, gladiator fights, bouncy castle, toddler area and much more: children's play festivals take place in different villages in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena on several dates in summer. These afternoons are all about playing and having lots of fun- under professional supervision, of course.

Who: Children from the age of three. No registration is required.
