Zugspitz-3 - Die kompakte Variante

The hike starts at Kurhaus Grainau (Parkweg 8), then follow the way via Christelhütte and Zierwald towards lake Eibsee. Here, take the Zugspitze cable car up to the summit of the Zugspitze (2.962m). The descent happens with the Tiroler Zugspitzbahn cable car. From here, hike to the Hochthörle hut over the "Törlen" and then back to the lake Eibsee and Grainau, again.

Important information:
Please do not leave the marked hiking trails, keep distance from animals and mind the opening times of the huts and bring enough supplies with you. In addition, good physical fitness, surefootedness and a head for heights are required.
