Summer tobogganing in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena

Full speed ahead! Seeing the summer toboggan run in Biberwier will already get the adrenaline flowing. On summer holiday, little and grown-up guests can swoosh down the 1.3-kilometre run – across a difference in altitude of 200 metres – while admiring the breathtaking mountain scenery on the Tyrolean side of the Zugspitze.

Summer toboggan Biberwier

To truly feel the thrill of summer tobogganing in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, you have to experience it for yourself: 1,300 meters of track, 40 curves, and even a tunnel. The run starts at the middle station of the Marienbergbahn at 1,180 meters above sea level and finishes at the valley station. Equipment is transported uphill via chairlift.

Important: Children under eight may only ride when accompanied by an adult supervisor.

Safety Rules:

  • Never reach into or under a toboggan while it’s in motion.

  • Maintain a safe distance from other riders at all times.

  • Slow down and proceed with caution on wet sections.

  • Immediately exit the track in case of rain.

  • Strictly adhere to these rules—violations are prohibited and subject to penalty.
