Ein Berg. Sieben Orte. Einzigartiger Urlaub.

Starkenberger Panoramic Route (total)

Long-distance hiking is becoming increasingly popular with active holidaymakers. They find optimal conditions for this in the Imst outdoor region in the heart of Tyrol. To date, five long-distance hiking tours have led through the region: the Eagle's Walk, the Via Claudia Augusta, the Way of St. James, the E1, and the E4. A sixth has recently been added: the Starkenberg Panorama Trail, which is full of highlights. It harks back to a centuries-old tradition, connecting the palaces and castles of the once powerful Starkenberg noble family. The diversity of nature that holidaymakers enjoy is also impressive. Pristine landscapes are complemented by breathtaking, sunny views of mountains and valleys, deep, shady gorges, and pleasantly cool forests, as well as seven lakes and numerous streams. Every now and then, the route passes through idyllic villages where visitors can linger and refresh themselves. The 70 kilometers of the Starkenberg Panorama Trail are divided into seven sections, each of which offers a surprise. To ensure hikers find the peace and relaxation they need after an eventful day, the many hotels and restaurants along the trail are specially designed for them.
