Fall traditions in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena
Cattle drive & sheep shearing

When the summer comes to an end, the people of the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena give thanks for the safe return of the cattle: Almabtrieb (alpine cattle drive) and Schafschoad (sheep shearing) are living customs, where the magnificently decorated cows move down into the valley and the sheep are shorn. These traditions are framed by live music and festive events. Visitors can expect a traditional atmosphere, regional specialties and a family-friendly program.
