With the summer cable cars to the huts

Not everyone wants or is able to take on a long hike – and that’s absolutely fine! In the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, several huts can be reached easily by cable car. This way, you can enjoy stunning views, regional specialties, and the unique hut atmosphere without a strenuous ascent. Perfect for those who want to experience the mountains in a relaxed way!

With the winter cable cars to the huts

Many huts can be reached by cable car or chairlift in winter - a quick and convenient alternative to walking. Enjoy the unique landscape on the sunny side of the Zugspitze during a relaxing ride on one of the cable cars. Once you arrive at the hut, typical Tyrolean hospitality and authentic regional dishes await you.
Please note: These huts are only accessible by cable car in winter/ not by winter hiking trail or car
(The View - the Pop-Up and the Heiterwanger Hochalm can also be reached by winter hiking trail).

Those seeking the classic hut atmosphere can reach many mountain inns via maintained winter paths or marked snowshoe routes. These outings combine quiet winter landscapes with a warm hut welcome—ideal for winter hikers, snowshoers and anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway.

Your (digital) summit book in summer & winter

SummitLynx & Stamp pass

Collect hiking pins with your smartphone: The Tiroler Zugspitz Arena is taking the good old summit book to a new - digital - level with SummitLynx. The tours you have already completed can be viewed in the app at any time. Of course, it is also possible to add to the collection at any time. If you want, you can simply exchange the digital hiking pins (for a small fee) for real ones at the local tourist offices.

Of course, physical stamps can still be collected with the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena stamp pass. You can pick up your stamp pass at the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena tourist offices.
