The Tiroler Zugspitz Arena will once again serve as the starting point for the Ehrwald Trail at the 16th edition of the Zugspitz Ultra Trail, Germany’s largest trail running event.

The Zugspitz Ultra Trail has been held since 2011 and is part of the UTMB® World Series for the first time in 2026.

Ehrwald Trail

Tough, challenging, spectacular

Starting in Ehrwald, the trail leads onto the main route around the Zugspitze—a trail for experienced trail runners.
