Event highlights in the region

Watching lavishly decorated animals as they return from their pastures, the eerily beautiful costumes of the “Krampusse”, or the extravagant masks of the “Einscheller”: There’s a lot to see and marvel at year-round. Another one of these cultural highlights are the breathtaking mountain fires – possibly the most popular event on the Tyrolean side of the Zugspitze.

The Tyrolean evenings in Ehrwald and Lermoos are a traditional and atmospheric experience. Visitors get to look forward to convivial hours with lots of dance, singing and delicious food. The majestic Zugspitze is an integral part of the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena’s name –and of course, it’s among the region’s most important attractions.
